Floral Design Shows (2012-2015)

Our Annual Floral Design Shows

Each year in November, the Lakeside Garden Guild hosts a Floral Show hosting 250 guests to peruse 38 to 40 floral arrangements.  Every year the theme is different,  challenging each member to design and  coordinate a floral idea and turn it into something spectacular and intriguing.  The money from this event is donated to our annual community project.

2019 Community Project

The Garden Guild's 2019 Community Project was to replace the two old falling-down bridges on the footpath of the Ajijic malecon. The guild used the money generated from its annual floral show and implemented the project in collaboration with the Gobierno Municipal.  Justine Bertram headed this committee.  The ceremony was held on July 18th at 11:00 a.m.   Below are some photos of the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the inauguration of the new bridges!
