2023 Meeting minutes

General Members’ Meeting
January 19, 2023, 11:30 a.m. - Home of Allegra Willis 
(MSC = Motion made, Seconded and Carried) 
Call to Order: President Willis called the meeting to order at 11:50 a.m.
Roll Call: Present at the meeting were Jan Alswager, Justine Bertram, Janet Capetillo, Vickie Christensen, Susan Cole Bainbridge, Liz Durham, Beth Fluke, Celina Haramis, Lucille Johnstone, Janine Kirkland, Leslie Martin, Di Anne Maczko, Alicia Merrill, Joyce McNiven, Bonnie Newman, Linda Rudisell-Hines, Cathy Sheehan, Merelyn Shore, Sharon Smith, Twig Smye, Sue Williams, Allegra Willis, Mary Wolf
 
Members are encouraged to bring prospective members to the next meeting.
There are no birthdays are in January. 
Minutes: There were no minutes to approve.
 
President’s Comments: President Willis welcomed the members to her home. She stated that she is grateful for the opportunity to serve the members as president. She also thanked the Board for their help and support throughout her presidency.
 
Sharon Smith presented President Willis with a gift certificate to Blue Rose Bistro
in appreciation for the wonderful job she did as president. It was a challenging year due to COVID and Allegra kept things together and found new ways to meet and keep the members engaged.
 
Bonnie Newman will take over as president at the February meeting. Bonnie thanked the members for the kind notes of congratulations and encouragement for her presidency.
 
Bonnie Newman shared the list of individuals who will be on the Board and the head of Programs.

There being no more business to discuss, the meeting was adjourned at 12:15 p.m.  Members enjoyed a lunch prepared by President Willis.
