Cathy Sheehan conducted a workshop on the use of cold glue and how to make composite flowers. Cathy had bought roses and gladiolas for the members to use in their constructions. We had so much fun!
Some of us found the cold glue challenging to work with! Sticky sticky sticky
Composite flower made from gladiola blossoms.
Leslie has removed the blossoms from her rose & is now using the cold glue to glue them onto the base.
Look at the concentration on Melinda's face. This lady is an "achiever"!
Even with all of that concentration, Melinda glued her fingers to the towel!
Allegra, "very well done!"
Janine & Justine hard at work.
Glue is placed on base.
A flower pin that can be secured on a blouse with sticky strips.
Justine had a unique technique for holding her flower while she assembled it.
Vickie says "It even smells good"!
With Karen's coaching Carmen made a beautiful composite flower!
"Beautiful, Margaret"
Sharron's flower has a place in her home.
We missed those of you who couldn't make the workshop!
